    [RiverDogs Preview] Nick Green Looks To Keep Rolling

    The Charleston RiverDogs square off against the Augusta GreenJackets in game three of their four game weekend series at Joe Riley Park. The Dogs send Nick Green (3-3, 2.63 ERA) to the mound while the Jackets hand the ball to Caleb Baragar (0-2, 2.64 ERA). Green has been very impressive as of late. In his last three starts, he has not allowed an earned run in 20 and two-thirds innings, allowing only eight hits, four walks while striking out 18 batters.

    The RiverDogs are looking to climb back to .500 with a win today. They’re currently 9-11 in home games.

    With last night’s win, the season series is tied 4-4 with Augusta.

    The bullpen continued its impressive run. Last night, David Sosebee and Garrett Mundell pitched a combined five innings allowing just one hit while striking out seven batters between the both of them. Sosebee picked up the win and Mundell earned the save. The bullpen has allowed only 46 runs in 165 and two-thirds innings pitched with a 2.40 ERA.
