The Charleston RiverDogs look for the series win against the Greenville Drive Sunday evening at Joe Riley Park. The RiverDogs have taken two of the first three games of the four-game set. The Dogs send out Phillip Diehl (5-0, 2.70 ERA) to face off against Jhonathan Diaz who will be seeing his first action of the 2017 season after being in extended spring training.

News & Notes:
- With last night’s 1-0 victory over Greenville, the Dogs are within four and a half games of first place Greenville in the Southern Division first-half race. The RiverDogs will go to Greenville for four games June 1-4.
- Pitching has been dominant during the first three games of the series. There have only been five runs scored between the two teams in 31 innings of the series.
- Phillip Diehl has been excellent all season, whether he’s coming out of the bullpen or starting. His last outing against Augusta on May 21, he pitched six innings, giving up five hits, allowing two runs which were both earned, and striking out seven to collect his fifth victory of the season.
- The RiverDogs welcome in the West Virginia Power for three games to conclude the homestand starting on Memorial Day. The Dogs are 4-3 against the Power this year, all games being played at Appalachian Power Park in Charleston, WV.
