New York Yankees Vice President of Domestic Amateur Scouting, Damon Oppenheimer, selected outfielder Pat DeMarco out of Winder Barrow High School with the 722nd overall draft pick in the 24th round of the 2017 Draft.

DeMarco is a highly touted prospect out of Georgia who has displayed good speed, a strong arm, and an outstanding bat. The 19-year-old was named a 2017 Rawlings-Perfect Game 3rd team All-American as well as given All Region (Southeast) 1st team honors.

DeMarco made a four-year commitment last year to play college ball at Vanderbilt University, so it is probably  going to take a lot from the Yankees to get him to sign.
