    Vargas has four hits in two games in the GCL after hitting .289/.364/.526 in eight games in the Dominican Summer League.

  • Hemmanuel Rosario: 2-for-3, 1 run scored, 3 RBI
    Rosario was a non-drafted free agent out of Puerto Rico in 2017. He struggled in his first few seasons.
  • Jake Farrell: 3-for-4, 2 runs scored, 1 RBI
    The 39th round pick in this year’s draft now has a .714/.625/1.000 slash line in two games with five hits, two of them being doubles.
  • D’Vaughn Knowles: 1-for-4, 1 run scored, 2 RBIs
    This is the first professional season for the 2018 international free agent. His hit and RBIs were his first of the season.
  • Dionys Vallejo: 2-for-4, 1 run scored, 1 triple, 1 RBI

    The 15th round pick out of Cal State Bakersfield made his professional debut today. Throwing 12/16 pitches for strikes.

    Threw 5/5 pitches for strikes. Greene made his professional debut after being drafted in the 21st round of the 2019 MLB Draft.

Gulf Coast League Yankees West (Rookie): The Gulf Coast League Yankees West (1-1) fell to the GCL Blue Jays, 10-7.

  • Angel Rojas: 1-for-5, 1 run scored
  • Sincere Smith: 1-for-1, 1 run scored, 1 home run, 4 RBIs
    Last year’s 32 round pick made his 2019 debut. He hit .161/.235/.226 over 12 games last season for the GCL Yankees.
  • Omar Martinez: 1-for-2, 1 run scored, 2 walks
  • Jake Agnos: 2IP 2H 4R 2ER 1BB 6SO
    Threw 25/30 pitches for strikes. This was the professional debut for this year’s fourth-round pick out of East Carolina.

    Threw 7/16 pitches for strikes. The 18th round pick out of East Carolina made his professional debut in relief of his fell ECU alumni.

Dominican Summer League Yankees (Rookie): The Dominican Summer League Yankees (10-9) had a scheduled off day. They will return to action tomorrow to face the DSL Angels.
