Absolutely. Yankees have built a lot of depth which creates good competition in the minors. I agree with you that the roster decisions are going to be very tough at certain positions with middle infield being one of them.

I would agree with that. He is good with the pitchers, but the only question would be if they have that plan like you said or do they believe Kyle Higashioka is ready to be the backup catcher. Plus, while Romine didn’t play first base great this past season, he at least can play a little of that position if needed.
