McBroom Wins Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders Player of the Year

Throughout the month of September, we have hosted various polls on Pinstriped Prospects so that our readers may help us name the top players throughout the system during the 2018 season.  The fans have spoken and named infielder/outfielder Ryan McBroom as our 2018 Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders player of the year.

McBroom split the season between Double-A and Triple-A, but he found a home with the RailRiders for most of the season.  In 95 games at the highest level before the majors, he hit .295/.339/.443 with 18 doubles, one triple, and 11 home runs in 359 for Scranton.

Between both levels, he hit .302/.348/.458 in 121 games with 23 doubles, two triples, 15 home runs and 60 RBIs with 32 walks.
