Five Underrated 2017 Yankees Prospect Hitting Performances

Gosuke Katoh (Mark LoMoglio)

Gosuke Katoh, 22, played in 84 games in 2017 for the Tampa Yankees and had a solid season, hitting .293/.376/.440 over 300 at bats.  He spent the majority of his season playing third base but also bounced around, seeing time at second, shortstop, first base and left field.  Katoh’s second half was better than his first half, with 64 of his 88 hits coming in the latter half.
