    Bluefield Clips P-Yanks, 2-0

    The Pulaski Yankees were held out of the runs column as they fell to the Bluefield Blue Jays, 2-0 on Friday night.  The P-Yanks mustered up six hits and two walks, but it was not a match for the Blue Jays’ nine hits, four walks and two runs scored.

    Alexander Vizcaino took the loss for Pulaski, moving to 1-1 on the season after throwing 5 1/3 innings.  He allowed two earned runs on eight hits and three walks while striking out five batters.  He was followed by Daniel Ramos who pitched 3 2/3 innings and struck out four batters.

    At the plate, the Yankees were led by Frederick Cuevas who had two hits.  Pablo Olivares, Jesus Bastidas, Dermis Garcia and Victor Rey each had one hit a piece.  Rey walked twice in the game.
