Feyereisen very well could be the first name Cashman and newly minted manager Aaron Boone call upon should a relief pitcher be needed in the Bronx.

Acquired by the Yankees from the Indians in the 2016 Andrew Miller blockbuster trade, J.P. has impressed in his time with the Yankees organization.

After going 3-0 with a 0.50 ERA with Trenton in 2016, He began 2017 with the Thunder and went 0-0 with a 2.70 ERA across 13 appearances before earning a promotion to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. With the RailRiders, the River Falls, Wisconsin native pitched to a 2-3 record and 3.53 ERA in 24 relief appearances.

The 25-year old has earned an invitation to big league camp this spring as a Non-Roster Invitee.
