7 Non-40 Man Players Who Could Make Their MLB Debuts in 2018

Brady Lail (Cheryl Pursell)

Lail is an interesting candidate that most people are sleeping on. He is a Caleb Smith type player who has a very decent shot making it to New York this season. He can pitch out of the bullpen as a long reliever or be a spot starter.

The former 18th round selection by the Yankees back in 2012, has pitched to a career 42-25 record and 3.84 ERA. The 2017 season wasn’t the kindest to Lail, but look for him to rebound with a strong start back in Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

The South Jordan, Utah native, has received an invite to Major League Camp this spring as a Non-Roster Invitee.
