Get to Know the Newest Yankees Prospects

It has been a busy week for the New York Yankees.  The hot stove season kicked off with the Bronx Bombers trading catcher Brian McCann to the Houston Astros in exchange for Albert Abreu and Jorge Guzman.

Then the Yankees traded James Pazos to the Seattle Mariners on Friday for right-handed pitcher Zack Littell.  We profiled the three newest Baby Bombers.

Jorge Guzman – RHP

A Dominican Republic native, this right-hander can dial it up to 103 miles per hour on the radar gun.  He is raw but has high upside.  Read his full profile here.

Albert Abreu – RHP

The former #7 prospect in the Houston Astros system.  Abreu has potential frontline stuff with a fastball that can hit 99 miles per hour.  Read his full profile here.

Zack Littell – RHP

Littell was the #14 prospect in the Mariners system before being traded to the Yankees.  The right-hander was also described as having the best curveball in Seattle’s farm system.  Read his full profile here.
