Pinstriped Prospects was founded in 2012 by Robert Pimpsner and is dedicated to bringing coverage of the New York Yankees minor league system to fans. The website was founded with intent to provide game recaps, player features, interviews, editorials and more to its audience in a professional manner. Pinstriped Prospects is made up of independent writers who enjoy baseball and want to provide fans with the best coverage possible.
Robert M. Pimpsner

Born and raised in Staten Island, NY Robert M Pimpsner has been covering the Yankees minor league system since the 2003 season when he started his first website, Baby-Bombers.com. Since that time he has been published with several outlets including Gotham Baseball Magazine, Baseball Digest, Pinstripes Plus, the Staten Island Advance and more. In 2012 he founded Pinstriped Prospects, after re-launching the website in 2014 he has built the site into one of the top places to get news on Yankees prospects.
Robert is a brother of Kappa Sigma Fraternity and a Freemason. In his spare time he volunteers as an alumnus advisor for Kappa Sigma and in the community with his fellow masons.
Matt Kardos is a 27-year old baseball writer who hails from Central New Jersey. Matt began writing as a correspondent for MLB.com in 2015 and has covered the Trenton Thunder and the Yankees farm system for the last five seasons. Matt co-launched the MiLB.com affiliated Rolling Thunder blog in 2015 before bringing his wealth of knowledge for Yankees prospects to Pinstriped Prospects.

Baseball columnist for The Times of Trenton for over 20 years. Enjoys writing about future Yankees and where a prospect stands in the system. Gershon Rabinowitz is a reporter for the YES Network affiliate Pinstriped Prospects covering the New York Yankees and their minor league affiliates. He is also a certified member of the Internet Baseball Writer’s Association of America.
Doug has been covering Minor League Baseball since 2014. He’s passionate about covering the game and it’s prospects in a professional manner. Lou Musto is a sports writer from the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area. His work has been published by a variety of outlets, including The Oklahoman, Scout, SNY and Gammons Daily. Baseball has long been one of his biggest passions in life, and he enjoys following up-and-coming prospects and their ascent through the minor league ranks.
Martin Griff has been a newspaper photographer in Central Jersey since 1979. He photographed the construction of Waterfront Park in 1993 – 94 and has covered the Thunder every season since the team moved to Trenton in 1994. Griff shot the 1980 and 1983 Phillies World Series and the 1986 Mets World Series. He also put in a lot of mileage walking the sidelines of Giants, Jets and Eagles football games with his cameras in hand. Griff grew up in Massachusetts, so being a Yankees fan is not an option for him.
