Hideki Matsui Coming Back to Staten Island!

On Saturday, April 12 former New York Yankees World Series MVP and Japanese baseball legend Hideki Matsui will be coming back to the borough of Staten Island as the Staten Island Yankees will host a special Single-Game Ticket Sale event at the Richmond County Bank Ballpark in St. George.

Matsui will be available for free autographs to fans who come out and purchase individual tickets to any 2014 Staten Island Yankees game. The RCB Ballpark ticket booth opens at 9 a.m. and will be selling tickets until 12 noon with the former Yankees outfielder being available from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

In addition to Hideki Matsui coming out fans will be able to enjoy heavily discounted snacks at concession stands as well as mingle with other supporters. At 1:00 p.m. the Wagner College SeaHawks will take the field to play the visiting Fairleigh Dickinson Knights.

The 2014 season will be the Baby Bombers 15th season in the borough of Staten Island, playing their first two seasons at the College of Staten Island before moving into the beautiful Richmond County Bank Ballpark in St. George.

This year the Yankees are serving up some great promotions including a world record attempt for most people wearing a fake mustache on Opening Day, June 13 against the Brooklyn Cyclones.
